Our Story

Our journey to a zero waste future

The Singapore Circular Materials Center (SGCMC) is a materials hub based in Singapore. We aim to be a network of designers, creatives, scientists, women co-op loom groups, inventors, activists, entrepreneurs, mills and factories, grassroots leaders, schools & youths; built on collaborations, partnerships & passion for our planet.

SGCMC generate ideas and create pilot programs to achieve our mission of pushing the zero waste movement forward in Singapore & regional Asia. We house and showcase materials based on the circular and regenerative principles of nature. SG Circular materials include re-imagined materials from recycled waste, sustainable materials that empower communities using regenerative practices for their craft, and bio-materials via eco-innovators.
